Room One Has Moved!

By the time you read this, our client advocates will have moved into our brand new building! It has been a journey since we broke ground on Phase 1 of the Room One campus in April of last year. This new Community Services Building will significantly expand our capacity to meet the increasing needs of clients and community members. In addition to having larger gathering rooms and more private (and soundproof!) spaces for individual client meetings, the Community Services Building was designed very intentionally to feel like home. The Methow Families honored us by identifying the word for the new space in local Nsilxcin language: naq spu'us, meaning the place of One Heart.
If you've ever been in a position where you needed to ask for help, you know how vulnerable it can be to walk into an unfamiliar space. One goal of the new building, and of Room One in general, is that every single person who walks through our doors would know immediately that you are safe and that you belong. You can find fresh Blue Star coffee, warm tea, a printer to use, fresh produce, a kind word. We have so much gratitude for everyone to the whole crew of workers and suppliers who made the new building possible. We would love the chance to walk you through the space - please stop by!
