Childcare Providers Needed!
Room One is seeking child care providers to support our groups and programs. We have multiple positions open and will be accepting applications on an ongoing basis.
About you: You love children - their humor, their resiliency, their insights, and view of the world. You have experience working with children, your own or others, ages 1-12 You understand how trauma can affect children's behavior, and therefore you are kind, can see the world through a child’s eyes, can set healthy boundaries, and work hard to ensure a safe environment so children can thrive.
About us: Room One is a social services and community advocacy organization serving the Methow Valley and extending into greater Okanogan County. Room One offers various support group programs wherein child care is provided onsite.
It will help you succeed in this role if you have:
A love for children
Experience working with children ages 1-12yrs.
A flexible schedule and are open to working evenings and weekends
A sense of humor
Ability to work alongside another child care provider with a team spirit and collaborative approach.
Unique Requirements of the on call childcare provider position:
You will need to provide your own transportation to and from Room One in Twisp
Must be at least 14 years of age
You can complete a background check
CPR and first aid training preferred
Are willing to sign our confidentiality agreement form
Nuts and Bolts of Position and Application Process
Reports to: Various Room One Staff
Pay: $25/hour
Hours: This is an on call position. Hours may vary depending on the needs and schedules of our various groups and programs. Hours may range from 8-20 a month. Includes nights and weekends.
