Okanogan Community Homeless Shelter

Provides emergency winter shelter for men and women at no charge. Must be sober to use. Open 7 days a week, with doors open from 6-6:30pm for checking in, check out is at 7 am. Shelter is staffed by volunteers from mid-November to the end of February. Basic dinner and breakfast provided.

The Cove- Food Bank

The Cove- Food Bank and Neighbors Helping Neighbors-serving the people of the Methow Valley, service include connection to necessities such as clothing and furniture. Also assists people with emergency and short term financial assistance for rent, utilities and more.

Okanogan County Coordinated Entry

Provides the quickest access to housing resources for every household experiencing or at risk of homelessness through a standardized assessment and referral process. The Shove House - Transitional Housing

Provides a cooperative, clean and sober living environment, enabling residents to address mental health and/or chemical dependency challenges which led to homelessness. Provides transitional housing for single individuals who are chronically homeless adults and do not have custodial children. Applications are available online, at Okanogan Behavioral Helathcare, or at the Shove House. Must be accessing services through OHBC to utilize this housing.
