Parent / Child Programs

Room One’s parent / child programs offer a breadth of resources to parents, parents-to-be and children.  These include, but are not limited to:

– One on one case management and referral services to help parents and families find the resources they need, including accessing resources such as food, housing and basic needs; parenting plans; legal resources; parenting resources; mediation; etc.

– The Mothering Group offering support and educational twice monthly meetings.

– The Baby Goods Exchange room filled with clothing and goods for babies and young children.  This is an active program of local recycling open to all residents of the Methow.

–Hosted programs at Room One offering resources for families: Okanogan Family Planning, WIC, links to DSHS, Career Path Services, and more.

– Trained staff to help with crisis management, concerns, or simple questions.
