Community Needs Assessment

Room One has embarked on a year long community needs assessment to create clear direction for social and health services in the Methow Valley.  This program is staffed full time by our AmeriCorps Vista volunteer, Erin Flahive.   Stay tuned for more information and to take part in upcoming surveys and focus groups.

Erin’s May 2012 Update:

Room One’s Community Needs Assessment is finished. The report below outlines the top five needs highlighted in focus groups, as well as the results from the surveys addressing those five needs. Although this only represents a small portion of the Methow Valley community, it is the beginning of a community effort in reaching out to community members and understanding the nature of living in this valley. We hope this report is useful to the entire Methow Valley Community, whether to support new projects or to provide an interesting read. This was and still is a community effort. From this entire project, the community shines as a true advocate for its residents. Thank you to everyone involved in making this project happen!
