Welcome

Room One is a non-profit human resource center located in the Methow Valley of North Central Washington. We provide essential services that address basic health and well being needs in our community, with a focus on domestic violence prevention and response. Our programs, services and resources include our domestic violence prevention and response program, a community information and referral service for physical, emotional or mental health needs, a health reference library, Classroom in Bloom -- a garden project at the public school, Red Shed Produce -- providing high quality organic vegetables at no cost to low-income families, a Mothering group, a Breast Cancer Support Group, and various one time and ongoing events, programs, services, and resources.

Room One also hosts the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) -- providing medical and food application processing -- 4 days a week, Okanogan Family Planning weekly, and Women, Infants and Children (WIC) -- a program for pregnant and parenting women with children under five -- bi-monthly.

Room One is supported by our strong and generous community. Being a community supported organization means we can directly respond to the specific needs of our community. Please consider becoming involved in Room One -- as a volunteer, board member, advisor, or donor. We could not do the work we do without the generous support -- in all of its forms -- we receive from the community. Thank you.
