Family Planning

Due to state cutbacks, Okanogan Family Planning can no longer administer the Twisp Family Planning Clinic.  Through creative thinking and the willingness of many to stretch and grow, Room One has negotiated with Family Planning of Chelan-Douglas County to administer our only local, sliding scale family planning clinic.  To make this viable option work, Room One and our community must raise $10,000 to cover the costs of medical staff, equipment and administration.

Here’s how you can help:

• Donate now by going to www.roomone.org – A “Donate Now” button is on the middle right.  After following the link, you can designate your donation as “Family Planning.”

• Host a “Save Family Planning Party” for your friends and neighbors at your house, work, or at a local restaurant.  You won’t be alone!  A volunteer will be helping organize these parties and you can request that a board member, staff or both join you at your event.

• Spread the word.  Let people know that our family planning clinic is now funded directly through Room One.  Donors can ear mark their Room One donations to go directly to family planning.
